Yes -- it's tough, tedious, and testy -- but DO-NOT-STOP! KEEP-GOING! The journeys thru Underland isn't glamorous nor are they immediately rewarding or popular. Shucks, such paths are rarely financially-fortunate and or superficially sanctioned. But, they are intangibly valuable and principled upon the laws of intentional-serendipity, sacred-alchemy (alchimi), and solace-synchronicity. Deep-down the rabbit hole beholds the treasure-troves of Legend! Plus -- all that is acquainted and accumulated is transferable BEYOND THE PHYSICAL-LIFE REALM.

Also, allow me to invite you engage in a 'Butterfly Effect'; a state-of-heart/mind if you will... one that I've been researching/developing in honor of my serendipitous Capricorn/Saturn Season's celebratory-intelligence >> per the Lord of the Rings storyline. Hidden within this trilogy is an assortment of sacred interpretations. Its innermost majestic-manifesto surrounds the Ring itself = {normally the One Ring appeared perfectly plain and featureless, but when heated its inscription appeared in fiery letters}... YOU ARE THE RING! And your fiery-lettering dwells beneath the darkened heat of your madd-hattery. With-this-said, I encourage you(me) to re-frame from shying away from our super-natural instincts. Because surely, every seemingly (odd) nuance matters in such a monumental way.
In addition, I offer you(me) the LOTR's Poem-of-Prophecy -- I've intently studied the psychology of J.R.R. Tolkien because of our fellowship within the INFP archetype (here's the link to explore more of the MBTI archetype via 16Personalities), but also because I was entertaining an insatiable attraction to under/inner/over-stand Me as an author (an Inkwell); plus to gain an acquired-taste for the infamous Imaginal Realm (Middle Earth) -- from a powered-point of sacred (meta-physical) scholarship. I was upon a madd-dash to develop habits that serviced the filler-of-voids during my daily-trajectory; especially when my focus wobbled and counteraction was needed to fight off the urges of impatient-success and frustrations of cloudy-days.
KEY-Notion: Our journey(s) are not in vain. And, even though the pace of our patience is (often) threatened (as I/We tend to forget that Rome was not built in a day...lol)...we must rock-steady.

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes of fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king(queen).
